Bond 1 - Major Roads


Area 1. 50 South from approximately 700 East to 1100 East

Purpose: Widen 50 South from 700 East to 1100 East with a cross section of 72 feet. Cross section consists of two travel lanes, a median lane, parking on both sides, curb and gutter and sidewalks. (Note: This project leverages federal matching funds.)

Current condition of 50 South from 700 East to 1100 East: Two lane road with gravel shoulders.


Area 2. Extension of 1120 North from 600 West to 900 West

Purpose: Extend 1120 North from 600 West to 900 West. Cross section consists of two travel lanes, a median lane, curb and gutter and sidewalks. Road extension will include bridging a 60-foot section of Mitchell Hollow and the extension of an 18" water line to 900 West.

Current Condition of 1120 North: New road section of 1120 North non-existent.

MAJOR COLLECTOR - 82'


Area 3. Expansion of 900 West at 700 North (just East of Costco)

Purpose: Purchase right-of-way north of 700 North for future expansion and for immediate addition west-bound right turn lane. On 900 West, add north-bound right-turn at 700 North. Interim solution to help reduce congestion.

Current Condition of 900 West at 700 North: Undersize intersection with existing two-lane roads.
